spinach quiche


ingredients:
  • 1 pkg chopped frozen spinach, drain all water!
  • 1 small onion chopped and sauteed in butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 pint heavy whipping cream
  • celery salt, pepper, nutmeg and salt to taste
  • 6-8 oz. grated swiss cheese
  • pie crust
instructions:
  1. prick the bottom of the crust with a fork, and brush with egg white.
  2. line bottom of crust with a thin layer of cheese
  3. blend remaining ingredients, pour into crust
  4. top with remaining cheese
  5. bake at 375, until slightly set, or nice and brown on top.
